Cecily strong
Cecily Legler Strong is a well-known American stand-up comic and actor well-known as a prominent cast member of 'Saturday Night Live'. She started her career with the theatre, but became interested in comedy around the age of nine when she took a class in improv. At first, she wanted to be an actor, but then realized she had a talent for comedy. The focus of her professional career changed from acting towards improv. Her first stage was on cruise vessels with friends of Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago as well as other improv groups. Strong participated in popular shows such as Chicago Sketch Fest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has also performed with Virgin Daiquiri which is an all-female troupe - as well as New York Sketchfest. Strong made her mark in 2012 when she appeared on "Saturday Night Life" during its 39th season as a featured cast member hosting for the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. The most memorable moment for Cecily during the series was the role she played in 'The Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started a Conversation with at a Social Event'. She made her debut as a film star in the same film, titled "How to Sponsor the Uterus". She criticized how women are treated like bikini models and female characters in films made by Hollywood instead of strong female protagonists.
