Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese origin and grew up during the war in Vietnam. The father of her Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family which has deep roots in America's South. Olivia's parents separated at the age of 2. Her family consisted of her mother, who served with the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan, even when the family moved frequently. At the time, she appeared in several local stage productions. In later years, she became a Japanese model. Olivia moved from Japan to Los Angeles when her family had moved back home to America. United States to follow her dream to be an actress.
