ndrea Lee is an emerging star in the LPGA Tour, highlighted by her first victory in the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee has won at every level, including her time during her time at Standford University where she earned nine victories, and was ranked for 17 weeks as #1 Women's Amateur from the World. In 2019, she won the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the top-ranked Women's Amateur in the final week of the season. She turned professional later that year. Andrea Lee was born on 15 August 1997 in Los Angeles. James, her father James started teaching her to play golf at the age of she was five years old. When she was 8, she started competing in tournaments. She was awarded 50 championships at the age of a junior, in just four years. Her debut year on the LPGA Tour, Lee had two top 10 results. She was a seventh-place finisher during the 2022 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee took home her first LPGA Tour title at the 2022 Portland Classic. She dedicated the win to her late grandfather Min who always considered me a champion and he believed in me from the beginning. I was super grateful for her and am sure that he's watching today. Lee was previously a competitor in soccer, figure skating and taekwondo.
