Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. In 1956, she had her breakthrough in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In the same year, she recorded her first album of music It's the Time for Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. When she was an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career with ease between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. She was born on the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived in the city for her entire childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the lead role.
