Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. Then she moved on to modeling and acting. The first two films she made got noticed and earned her recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she was named the top female box office starter in the world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
